It’s the fourth week into my new position, and it’s felt like I’ve been here for a long time. Time flies when you’re learning something new and you’re having a fun time. I’m working in the Marketing department with the Marketing Officer and Senior Manager of Business Development. I’m given a variety of marketing tasks by the Manager, and I shadow the Officer while he does his tasks, which include administering the Collision Avoidance Course, Business Development invoicing, and planning for off-site events. In the past few weeks, I’ve worked at a Vancouver Canadians baseball game, for which our company is a major sponsor. I’ve also worked at the Collision Avoidance Course held in Pitt Meadows, because our company is a supporter of the course.
Can you believe it’s the end of July? I hope to spend more time at the beach, and maybe I’ll see you there too!
