fight club

Fight scenes are a shot of visual adrenaline. If you feel like you as one person cannot make a difference, a fight scene can improve your perspective. One person can stand up to, and triumph against an evil foe. A determined person can defend against an entire gang. After watching a good fight scene, you can handle any adversity, no matter how daunting.

Good choreography makes a fight scene more than just an ultimate fight. A martial arts fight is redefined as inspirational art. You know the fight is not real, yet you marvel at the creativity and cinematic skill of telling a story through the dance of a fight.

Here are my favorite fight scene movies.
Dragons Forever - Jackie Chan
Drunken Master II - Jackie Chan
Enter the Dragon - Bruce Lee
Fist of Legend - Jet Li
Flash Point - Donnie Yen
Gorgeous - Jackie Chan
Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior - Tony Jaa
Police Story - Jackie Chan
Project A - Jackie Chan
Tom Yum Goong: The Protector - Tony Jaa

Special Mention, for its weapons-based fighting:
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - Zhang Ziyi and Michelle Yeoh
